Have you ever dreamed of coming home to your beautiful home to hear your favorite music playing throughout your home and not see those ugly in-wall or in-ceiling speaker grills? Your new flat-panel display is hidden from view by beautiful artwork until you decide to watch a movie or TV show. The personal artwork either shifts up, to the side or rolls up into the framework around your display. Your new display can even be installed behind a video mirror which is invisible until you push the system on button of your personalized universal remote.
In your master bedroom, you may want your display hidden into the ceiling and then drops down at your command and swivels to the best viewing position or your display may rise up from a cabinet where it was hidden from view until you command it to raise up for viewing with the touch of a button. Your display may even lift from the floor hidden beneath your floor until your ready for the movie.

Outdoor speakers come in many different varieties such as, rock speakers, planter speakers, flower-pot speakers, or matching Malibu lighting speakers with many different types of matching subwoofers. These types of speakers allow us to place them in areas that you wouldn’t want to see a outdoor box speaker. This allows the installer more options to get the best sound for the client without bothering you neighbors, unless you want to.
There are many different ways to hide your Flat-Panel display. These are some of the ways to keep the aesthetics of your room, installing lithograph artwork that rolls up into the picture frame that enhances your display. You can pick from over 800 different artworks of some well know artist or have a lithograph commissioned of your favorite picture or photo. This artwork is also available in a few projection screen sizes too. Motorized artwork that moves upward, downward, left or right will allow you to use your favorite artwork and frame. The complete piece will move away from your display at the touch of the TV power button. You may have your display built into a custom cabinet where a matching panel will raise or lower to allow viewing of your display. You may want your display to rise up in front of your artwork within your cabinet at the touch of a button. If the display isn’t your main TV you may want to install a Video mirror to hide your display when off such as in your bathroom, master bedroom or living room. This allows you to watch the display when you choose to, but invisible when you are entertaining and only want music playing through your invisible speakers and not have to view that black flat panel display on your wall. There are many different cabinets and lifts for custom cabinets that will hide your display until viewing is requested. These lift will also work with special outdoor flat panel displays for that summertime viewing or hot tub viewing.
Most people these days don’t want to see all of those components and wiring in there room. You may want to install all of your components into a rack in your cabinet or a closet hidden behind closed doors. The most important and forgotten addition to hidden components is ventilation for your components. Passive ventilation won’t work in most situations for enclosed components. Active ventilation is recommended for most system installs which should be calculated for the correct cooling of your components. If your components are getting hotter than 95 degrees, please call a CEDIA certified installer or licensed HVAC installer to correct this issue ASAP.
Control of these hidden components is very simple with a Radio Frequency or Infrared universal remote with a customized interface for a simple control of your system. This is the most important part of your system. If you can’t work your system with ease someone programmed your remote wrong.
